The Athletes’ Village Chiropractic + Sports Injury
The Athletes’ Village was started by Dr. Chris Gouveia. Dr. Chris spent 4 years practicing sports chiropractic in Boca Raton, Florida. While practicing he realized there was a gap in musculoskeletal care. Not all aches and pains require surgery and pain medications only mask the symptoms.
Dr. Chris wanted to bring his experience to Downtown Toronto to help provide superior musculoskeletal care. This is why he opens The Athletes’ Village Chiropractic and Sports Injury on Queen West. Located at the intersection of Queen Street West and Bathurst.
At The Athletes’ Village, there are 3 main pillars of our care:
1) The Chiropractic adjustment to address join restrictions
2) Soft tissue treatment to address muscular, fascial, and connective tissue dysfunction
3) Custom-tailoured rehab and exercise designed to reinforce the changes we made with manual therapy
